Creatures Review 1

  • When the personal plane of a highly ranked Brazilian cabinet member and his family disappears in the Amazon, a search and rescue helicopter records evidence of a massive anomaly in the jungle. Doc Morrison, a renowned geologist, is called in to help investigate what could be the collapse of the largest cavern known to man. Doc and his graduate student protégés, Libby and Peter, join a team from Brazil to explore the site.
  • Deep in the remote jungles of South America, the team, including an elite unit of Brazilian soldiers, is soon set upon by creatures none of them could have ever imagined. Separated in small groups, they must face their fears and summon the strength to fight for their lives in the hope of getting a warning out about this terrifying new threat to mankind.

“The story caught my attention early and kept it until the end of the book. Before I started, I was not sure how would like a story about creatures. The author did a great job making them into believable characters that made the whole story work. Most of the questions in the story were answered by the end of the book but the ending wasn’t certain until I got there. It is obvious there should be a sequel to this book and I look forward to reading it. Great job!” By Amazon Customer

“Creatures was a fast and entertaining read and I’m looking forward to a sequel (hopefully). I downloaded this book for a cross country flight and although I normally fall sleep on planes, this book kept me wide awake and unable to put it down. What was particularly enjoyable was that the action packed scenes are described in the points of view from multiple characters and subtle details tie it all together. The story provided good closure, but also left it open to a sequel. I can think of a few possibilities…….Hope to see one soon!” By Amazon Customer
